Truckstop Load Posting

The Truckstop integration lets connected users post, update, refresh, and remove supported load-board postings from ARK TMS.

Before you connect

Truckstop requires both:

  • A Freight Match Pro license
  • Access to the Load Posting web service

The Load Posting web service requires additional Truckstop licensing. If your account does not have both requirements, email Truckstop Integrations at tsi@truckstop.com and request load-posting access for ARK TMS.

After Truckstop confirms the licenses, users authenticate ARK with their existing Truckstop credentials.

Setup checklist

  1. Confirm the organization has Freight Match Pro and Load Posting web service access.
  2. Open Settings, then Integrations.
  3. Select Truckstop.
  4. Connect the organization Truckstop account.
  5. Ask every person who will post loads to connect their own Truckstop account.
  6. Choose the organization posting settings and save.
  7. Test one Available load before using the integration broadly.

Organization and user connections

The organization connection lets ARK load active Truckstop users and complete organization-level setup.

Each person who posts or manages Truckstop loads must also authorize their own Truckstop account. Until then, Truckstop posting actions do not appear for that person. The organization connection and legacy post-as mappings do not authorize posting for an individual user.

The Enable Truckstop load board switch controls whether Truckstop posting is available to the organization. Turning it off pauses Truckstop posting and background refresh work without disconnecting the organization or its users; turning it back on resumes the saved connections.

Posting behavior

Truckstop postings are public by default unless private posting is enabled and selected. Organization settings control whether users can expose the posted all-in rate or use private-posting options.

Users can update or remove an existing Truckstop post even when the local pickup timing is now in the past. Manual refresh follows Truckstop's next-refresh time when provided; otherwise ARK uses a six-hour fallback.

Troubleshooting

  • License or posting permission error: confirm Freight Match Pro and Load Posting web service access with tsi@truckstop.com.
  • Organization not connected: ask an administrator to complete the organization connection in Settings.
  • User cannot post or Truckstop actions are missing: confirm that user connected their own Truckstop account and that their Truckstop login is active.
  • Connection expired or blocked: select Reconnect. If access is still blocked, select Disconnect, then connect again.
  • Posting blocked: confirm the load is Available and has the required stop locations, country values, arrival start times, and supported equipment details.
  • Action rejected: review the listed validation issues in the error message or open the load's Attention menu, then Needs fix. Correct the requested fields or requirements and retry the action.
  • Refresh unavailable: use the next-refresh time shown by Truckstop, or wait six hours when Truckstop does not return one.
