Account Settings

Account Settings control personal profile details, password updates, sign-in help, and user-level preferences.

Profile details

  • First Name: your first name shown to teammates.
  • Last Name: your last name shown to teammates.
  • Email: your sign-in email and primary account email.

Ask an admin to update organization-level access, role, backup users, commission setup, or permissions from Settings.

Password help

Use the password reset flow if you cannot sign in or need to update a forgotten password.

If you are already signed in and are updating your password, enter the new password and confirmation exactly the same way before saving.

Notification preferences

User-level preferences may include in-app alerts, sounds, workflow alerts, or quote and tracking notifications depending on your organization's setup.

Some notification options appear only when the related module is available to the organization.

Personal API keys

When API access is enabled for your organization, open Developer access from the account menu.

  1. Select Create key.
  2. Enter a name and choose when the key expires.
  3. Select only the API scopes the integration needs. Available scopes are limited to your current ARK access.
  4. Allow all visible teams or restrict the key to selected teams.
  5. Under Advanced, optionally set a row limit per request.
  6. Create the key, copy it, and store it securely before closing the dialog. The full key cannot be shown again.

Developer access lists each key's status, prefix, scopes, team restriction, expiration, and last use. Revoke a key when it is no longer needed or may have been exposed; requests using it stop immediately.

If Developer access is missing or key creation is unavailable, ask an admin to confirm that API access is enabled and that your account has grantable API scopes. When creation is disabled, open Developer access directly to revoke an existing key.

Access changes

If an admin changes your role or permissions, sign out and back in before reporting that access is still missing.

For missing pages, buttons, reports, EDI tenders, settlement actions, QuickBooks sync options, or tracking settings, ask an admin to review your permissions and the organization's available modules.
