project44 forwards shipment milestones and visibility updates when enabled for your organization. It is not selected from Start Tracking.
Setup checklist
- Confirm project44 account access and customer mapping requirements.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Select project44.
- Enter the required settings, including the project44 Carrier ID when applicable.
- Save.
Customer mapping
Some project44 workflows require customer-specific mapping. Review the customer profile for the project44 tenant ID before expecting load updates to flow correctly.
Test workflow
- Select one customer that is mapped for project44.
- Confirm the load has complete pickup, delivery, reference, and tracking details.
- Dispatch the load.
- Confirm milestones or visibility updates flow for that load.
- Compare the shipment record in project44 if an update is missing or delayed.
Normal usage
Use project44 for customers that require shipment visibility updates. Confirm customer mapping before moving new customers into the workflow, and review load details before dispatch so milestones can be matched correctly.
Start tracking through the active tracking provider for the load. project44 receives or forwards the resulting visibility updates for mapped customers.
Troubleshooting
- Customer is not mapped: review customer mapping before expecting updates.
- Load details are incomplete: confirm stops, references, and contact details.
- Tracking provider is not active for the load: start the required tracking workflow.
- Milestone updates do not match shipment status yet: compare the provider record and wait for the next update if the status recently changed.
- No update for a mapped customer: confirm the customer mapping and load references.
