Cash Flow

Cash Flow reporting helps compare expected incoming customer payments and outgoing carrier payments.

Views

  • Customer view: expected receivables.
  • Carrier view: expected payables.
  • Combined review: compare expected inflows, outgoing settlements, and payment timing.

How to use it

  1. Choose customer or carrier view.
  2. Review upcoming cash timing.
  3. Filter or sort by due date, customer, carrier, or amount.
  4. Open source billing records for corrections.
  5. Export when needed.
  6. Use aging reports for overdue follow-up.

Best practices

Review cash flow before payment runs, ACH/Nacha batches, and customer collections meetings. Keep due dates, pay holds, factoring status, invoice status, settlement status, and payment status current so the report stays useful.

Reconciliation

Compare cash flow exports against AR aging, AP aging, settlement batches, recorded payments, and customer collections notes. Update the source billing record when a payment date, due date, or status is wrong.
