Freight Broker TMS with Truckstop Load Posting and RMIS

ARK TMS connects freight brokers to Truckstop load posting and RMIS carrier onboarding in one operating workflow. Post and manage Truckstop loads, review synced RMIS carrier compliance, then dispatch covered freight, track shipments, invoice customers, and sync supported accounting records to QuickBooks Online from ARK.

  3. 3

    Dispatch

Assign the selected carrier and move the covered load into ARK dispatch operations.

  4. 4

    Track

Manage shipment visibility with ARK Tracking or another configured tracking connection.

Connection 01 · Truckstop

Manage the posting lifecycle from the load

Create a Truckstop posting from an Available load, then return to the same ARK load to update, manually refresh, or remove it. Posting status and separate expiration context keep the provider lifecycle visible to operations.

Public posting is the default. Private-posting and posted-rate controls appear only when enabled for the organization. If a posted load leaves Available status, ARK queues provider removal and shows the removal state while it completes.

  • Supported origin, destination, pickup, equipment, commodity, weight, length, rate, and note data
  • Manual refresh based on the next eligible time returned by Truckstop
  • Posting, update, refresh, removal, and failure states attached to the load

Connection 02 · RMIS

Bring carrier onboarding evidence into operations

Preview an RMIS invitation by DOT or MC/MX, or manually sync an existing carrier by RMIS ID, DOT, or MC/MX number. ARK stores the provider record with carrier certification, compliance, insurance, safety, authority, contact, agreement, W-9, and document details when RMIS supplies them.

Manual sync supports an immediate review. Enabling RMIS onboarding also enables automatic Delta sync for monitored carrier updates. ARK can retrieve supported files when RMIS supplies valid references and document retrieval is enabled for the organization.

After coverage

Keep the covered load moving in ARK

After carrier selection, ARK supports dispatch and invoicing on the same load record. Shipment tracking requires ARK Tracking or another configured tracking connection. QuickBooks Online sync requires a configured QuickBooks integration and applies to supported accounting records.

  • Dispatch from the assigned load record
  • Track with a configured visibility workflow
  • Invoice in ARK and hand supported records to QuickBooks Online

Requirements

Connect both workflows with accountable access

Provider accounts and credentials are required; ARK does not replace those agreements.

  1. 1

    Connect the Truckstop organization account

An administrator configures and activates the organization-level Truckstop connection.

  2. 2

    Authorize every posting user

Each person who posts must connect their own Truckstop account with user OAuth.

  3. 3

    Enable RMIS onboarding

An administrator saves the RMIS Client ID and API password, then enables RMIS onboarding.

  4. 4

    Confirm Truckstop posting controls

Review the organization’s private-posting and rate-field access before testing.

  5. 5

Test one load and one carrier

Verify a normal posting lifecycle and a known RMIS carrier before broad team use.

FAQ

Truckstop and RMIS questions

What does ARK TMS integrate with Truckstop?

ARK integrates with Truckstop load posting. Connected users can create, update, manually refresh, and remove supported postings from ARK. Public posting is the default; private and rate controls depend on organization settings.

Does ARK TMS integrate with RMIS?

Yes. ARK supports RMIS carrier invitations, manual sync for existing carriers, certification and compliance review, insurance, safety and authority data, contacts, agreements, W-9 records, and available documents when RMIS supplies them. Enabling RMIS onboarding also enables automatic background Delta sync.

Can I manage Truckstop loads and RMIS carriers in one TMS?

Yes. Truckstop posting actions stay with the load, while RMIS evidence stays with the carrier workflow. Teams can use both connections before continuing the covered load through ARK dispatch, configured tracking, invoicing, and supported QuickBooks Online sync.

What happens after a carrier covers the load?

ARK supports dispatch and invoicing after coverage. Tracking requires ARK Tracking or another configured tracking connection, and QuickBooks Online sync requires that integration to be configured for supported accounting records.

What is required to set up Truckstop and RMIS in ARK?

Truckstop requires an active organization connection and a separate OAuth connection for every posting user. RMIS requires a Client ID, API password, and administrator enablement. Your provider accounts remain separate from ARK.

How much does ARK TMS with these integrations cost?

See the current ARK TMS pricing page for ARK plans. Truckstop and RMIS contracts, credentials, or provider fees are governed separately by those providers.
