September 2026 ARK TMS Update: Clearer Tracking, Smarter Dispatch, Simpler Quoting

Keeping freight moving means keeping customers informed, watching the next appointment, and getting the details right. September’s ARK TMS update highlights improvements that make those everyday jobs easier, with customer-wide tracking links, clearer late-load alerts, and simpler ways to find, price, and share loads.

One tracking link for each customer

Give customers one reusable link to follow their dispatched and recently delivered shipments. They can select a load to see its tracking details, then switch to another shipment from the same page.

From Share Tracking, choose “All dispatched loads for [Customer]”. You can also manage the link from the customer record, including replacing or revoking it when needed.

It gives your customer a place to return to when they want to check the rest of their freight, without asking your team for a separate link for each load.

Know what LATE and ETA LATE mean

The dispatched load board now separates two situations that call for different follow-up. LATE means the next open stop’s scheduled cutoff has passed without a recorded arrival or departure. ETA LATE means a fresh ETA predicts arrival after that cutoff.

Stale or unavailable tracking appears separately, so an old location update does not masquerade as a current prediction. Your team gets a clearer signal when deciding which driver to contact or which customer to update.

Put the next appointment first

The dispatched load board shows the next open stop’s scheduled arrival in its local timezone. Choose Next stop scheduled in the Status sort to organize the board around upcoming appointments.

It makes the next scheduled commitment easier to find when you are planning check calls or scanning a busy board. Loads with missing schedules stay at the end of this sort.

Find a load by any stop

Load board search and global search now include intermediate stop locations. If you remember the city of a middle pickup or delivery, you can use it to find the load.

Results identify the matching stop, so you can see why the shipment appeared even when its origin and final destination are somewhere else. That is especially useful when working with multi-stop freight.

Adjust quote pricing directly

In Quote Customer, edit the quote price or markup directly when pricing from a carrier bid in the same currency. The linked value updates as you make the change, without switching pricing modes.

The Add Bid and Edit Bid forms also keep total price and price per mile synchronized when load mileage is available. Work with the number you have in front of you and keep the related price in step.

Copy a more complete load summary

Copy Full Details now includes more of the information your team needs for a handoff: customer identifiers, stop references, actual stop times, POD signer, and relevant dispatch details.

The copied summary also includes customer pay, carrier pay, and linked vendor expenses with currency-aware totals. You can bring a fuller picture into an internal handoff or reconciliation conversation without gathering each detail separately.
