April 2026 ARK TMS Update: Faster Load Work, Command Search, and Cleaner Billing
A customer-facing ARK TMS product update covering April 2026 improvements to the load workspace, command search, billing, currency handling, carrier onboarding, and the controlled EDI rollout.
April was a big month for the ARK TMS operating workspace. The largest changes focused on helping brokerages work bigger boards faster, jump to records without losing context, keep carrier onboarding details together, and reduce billing and reporting cross-checks.
A Faster, Denser Load Workspace
The load board received the biggest day-to-day workflow upgrade. Large boards are easier to scan, active work stays in context, and dispatched loads that have completed their stops can be surfaced for delivery review without moving them out of the dispatched workflow too early.
Dispatched freight can stay in the dispatched workflow while completed stops surface as ready for delivery review.
| Load | Customer | Origin | Destination | Pickup | Delivery | Carrier | Status | Pay |

This matters most for teams that live in the load page all day. More work fits on screen, status review is clearer, and high-volume boards are less likely to slow down the person trying to cover, track, or close out the next load.
Command Search Across the Brokerage
ARK now has a keyboard-first command search for quickly finding loads, customers, carriers, payments, factoring companies, and people. It is built for the way operators search in real life: load numbers, PO numbers, BOLs, carrier identifiers, customer names, and related billing records.
The search result also exposes the next useful action, such as opening the record or copying the reference a teammate needs. That keeps navigation and lookup work from turning into a page-by-page hunt.
Cleaner Billing, Currency, and Reports
April tightened several billing and reporting surfaces that brokers use to get paid and keep customers current. Customer reference numbers are easier to see in A/R work, lumper receipts are easier to confirm in packet review, delivered carrier billing can show payment type, remittance emails are more reliable for grouped A/P payments, and commission reporting has clearer customer context.
Multi-currency handling also moved forward across load, billing, document, reporting, notification, and accounting workflows. For brokerages that handle cross-border or non-USD freight, the practical win is less ambiguity around which currency belongs to which side of the transaction.
Carrier Onboarding Stays Connected
Carrier profiles now have a stronger onboarding record: current status, agreement history, packet documents, file history, and contacts can stay visible from the carrier workspace. Invite handling also has clearer terminal states for submitted, expired, and cancelled links, which helps external carrier flows fail cleanly instead of leaving teams guessing.

The goal is a cleaner handoff from invite to usable carrier profile. When documents, contacts, and status history stay together, operations can follow up faster and avoid recreating the same carrier context in separate places.
EDI Continued in Controlled Rollout
EDI moved forward with more tender review, response, status, mapping, certificate, and load-creation work. We are still onboarding this carefully with each team because these workflows need to be accurate before they become part of daily operations.
For customers in the rollout, the direction is clear: tenders should become easier to review, respond to, and turn into ARK loads with less duplicate entry.
April made ARK TMS faster to work in, clearer to review, and better prepared for higher-volume brokerages.
