Customer Profiles
Customer profiles should reflect how your team sells, services, tracks, and bills each account.
Profile fields
- Name: legal or account name used by your team.
- Nickname: short internal identifier when helpful.
- Country: customer country for address and currency workflows.
- Default currency: default customer currency when applicable.
- Business hours: normal customer availability.
- Phone and email: primary contact information.
- Tracking email: email used for shipment tracking updates.
- Notes: internal account notes.
Internal owners
Assign sales and service representatives so reporting and account ownership stay accurate.
Contacts and locations
Keep the primary contact, billing contact, and location contacts current. For regular facilities, confirm address details, appointment instructions, hours, phone numbers, and time zones before the location is reused on a load.
Imported profiles
Imported profiles should be checked for duplicate names, incomplete contacts, stale billing details, and missing ownership. Merge or retire duplicates before users start selecting the customer on new loads.
Maintenance
Update customer contacts, billing details, credit settings, and notes whenever the account changes. Archive outdated notes that no longer help users make decisions.
